So what can you expect from me in 2014?
I will be attempting a Project Life hybrid project. Actually calling it Project life is probably not correct, since I won't be using any of the Project Life products. I've had some test runs on various versions and I think I might have found one that is so much more me and the life I live. In contrast to last year's digital Project Life I will make it a priority to blog more about it.
I will be joining Tangie Baxter's Art Journal Caravan. This is something I have been wanting to do for years but never found the time or money for. In 2014 I'm making me a priority and art journaling is a huge part of how I deal with things. Since this will also be the last Caravan she does, it was now or never. I choose now!
I will be doing the monthly blog train at Pixelscrapper. So that means a freebie kit for you guys every month. As you know I've been back and forward on the whole design issue. At this point I can't imagine doing it as a business again but I do enjoy the process and I think the prompts given at Pixelscrapper will help me grow my techniques.
I will take better care of myself. So that means healthier eating and more workouts. If this actually will result in a few blog posts time will tell. I might share a recipe or two with you if something totally yummy falls onto my plate (quite by accident since I'll be doing the cooking).
I will rekindle my love for reading. Sadly I didn't finish a single book in 2013. For a reader like me that is total failure. Everyday life became too much in 2013 and left me with no energy to let myself escape into the world of fiction. A world that has saved my sanity more than once in the past.
I will take more photos. Towards the end of 2013 and especially doing the December Daily album I found a renewed love for taking photos - and more precisely setting up the photo. I don't have many people around me daily but that's a challenge I'm willing to take on. Taking meaningful photos without having persons in them to tell the story.
I think that's about it. Nothing special but at least now you - and I - have an idea about where the blog is heading for this upcoming year. I bet it'll be a grand year. I'm sure of it. Positive. It has to.
Happy new year everyone
