Sunny Days

After five years of on and off again blogging I’m now rapidly approaching 5000 page visits. I know that’s nothing in comparison to the majority of blogs and yes I didn’t add the counter until probably a couple of years ago but that’s the number I’m sticking to.

Looking back at five years of blogging a lot has changed. I started the blog to share my scrapbooking and particular design adventures at a point of my life where my head was spinning with scrapbooking ideas constantly. That’s no longer the case. When I started scrapping I was thrilled that I had finally found a hobby that I actually liked but in the years that followed and particular this last one scrapbooking has taken the backseat to so many other things that leaves me eager for more hours in the day. Crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, the occasional project around the house, photography and genealogy which has had my head spinning with knowledge I never thought I’d have. Blogging regularly kind of ended for me because scrapbooking wasn’t my sole project any longer and I kind of wanted the blog to stay only about scrapbooking but…

It’s my blog. It’s my little corner of the vast world wide web and I can do whatever I fancy with it. So I think it is time to start including more of all the things that fills my days. I did rename the blog to Life because I wanted it to include of my everyday life. I just never got around to doing it. Maybe someone will find something interesting among the things I’ll blog about – maybe not but I know that in five years time I’ll have something to look back on and remember. Just like I do now looking back to December 2008.

Anyway enough babbling. I figure 5000 hits is worth a celebration. So I’ve updated the blog a bit (Yep, I did it again. I can’t seem to make up my mind. At least I didn’t change the name this time) and I’ve got a freebie for you. A full page kit called Sunny Days. Good for both art journaling and more traditional digital scrapbooking. So what are you waiting for? Start creating now! Oh wait – you probably need the link for the kit first, right? Well here it is |SUNNY DAYS|
