Sunday, May 12

It’s been a long week. Well actually week and a half since beginning on my new job. I’ve worked in retail for years so I’m used to be running around a lot but this is different. It’s not just running. It is also standing still for long periods of time which admittedly is entirely my own fault since I’ve chosen to do most of my administrative duties standing in the store instead of sitting in the office.  I’m just not the sit on my bum at an office table all day kind of girl.

I have been dead tired all week which also shows in the lack of posts here and my legs have been killing me. By the end of week I feel like I’ve worn off a least a good few inches of each legs.

That’s my inspiration for my piece for the Sunday Postcard Art challenge this week. The prompt was pretty broad. It’s simply to use chevron somewhere on your piece and let me tell you. I had so much fun creating this one. (Including the chevron stamp I started out by creating which I’m giving away for free this week)

DISCLAIMER: No I am not really ten feet tall nor is a giraffe, well maybe a baby giraffe. The ten feet is merely chosen because it had a certain ring to it – and it looked good. Oh yes I am that shallow.

Here’s my starting point – a sort of chevron stamp which you can download for free and use for – well for whatever you fancy. Download it here
