Project Life 16

16

This is quite possible the most boring Project Life spread you’ve ever seen but like I revealed in my post last Friday I didn’t really take any photos last week. Something else was on my mind and is also the reason why the journaling is taking up so much space. I had a lot to say apparently. Friday was my last day at my current job and let me tell you, after ten years at the same place it is incredibly difficult to say goodbye (although I hear they are taking bets on when I’ll come back so I guess they don’t quite think of it as goodbye). Last day ended in chaos where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong and I ended up having to go in the day after for a while to fix a bit of the mess a busy day had left behind which has been quite typical for this job. Constantly busy, constantly trying to fix every issue while in reality not getting anywhere near to being done for the day. I am not going to miss that part. I might be naïve for hoping that my new job will give me a little less stress especially since I’ll be a sales manager but I can’t help it. A bit of piece would be great. Just a bit, I like to keep busy for the most parts.

Luckily we spend Sunday with family celebrating my husband, my sister-in-law and my mother-in-law’s birthdays. We live in small house so it was a bit crowded, especially with 3 dogs, but we managed and the sun even came out for a while. I had been baking for what seems like all night Saturday and when we finally sat down I was dead tired. Typical me. I want everything to be perfect and they seldom are. At least I remembered to take out the camera and get a few photos but almost as soon as our guests were out the door I was off to bed.

So yes, this might look a bit boring but this past week was a huge deal for me.

  1. I don't think your pages are "boring" at all. Journaling is important - especially when big things happen in life. I like that you put all the photos on one page and the journaling on the other.
