Gothic Valentine

The theme for the Sunday Postcard Art this week is ‘Gothic Valentine’ and I’m not sure my creation falls in the category gothic nor valentine, however I do feel it fits my mood perfectly today and in the end that’s all that matters.

I’m dead tired after a long week that doesn’t seem to ever end and I’m very much looking forward to Thursday where my next day off work is. Oh the joys of working weekends are never-ending! Especially the hangover alike headaches working nights seem to bring with them every time.

So right now instead of going to the gym the only effort I seem capable off is surfing the web mindlessly, just waiting for another shift to start while my better half (and I truly mean better half) enjoys the benefits of being able to sleep in on a Sunday morning. I so envy him this.

But considering how much he keeps me going every other day of the week, he deserves to sleep in. I know that the gift of my love isn’t the easiest to receive.

  5. I think it's gothic, Jeanet - and I really love it. They do look weary though. Everlasting love - like shift work - is obviously very tiring :-)
