I can’t believe the weekend is already over. Soon it’ll be bedtime and then another week just like last week begins. I didn’t get to do all the things I had hoped to do but at least we did get to do a couple of things we’ve been putting off for months. You know, important stuff, like putting up curtains in the bedroom, putting up light in the bedroom. We haven’t had a ceiling light in the bedroom for close to two years. Okay for the most part of those two years we didn’t even have a bedroom but without the light… Let me just tell you it has resulted in some pretty embarrassing clothing moments. More then once I’ve tried to get dressed in a semi dark room and not noticed that I had my shirt on backwards. So getting these things done definitely were important.
We also got started on doing the new headboard but I have to confess that it was me that gave up on that one today. The staple gun was acting up, only working half the time and I just didn’t have the patience.
I’ve spend hours this weekend (or what feels like hours) looking at the empty wall in the dining room trying to figure out what to put on it. Most of the solutions I could think of were pretty pricy. Yes, making a photo wall is pricy if you insist on having frames that all belong to the same series. And even if I did decide on something I would still have to decide on which photos to have on display. It is so difficult to chose.
Sigh – all these decisions constantly requesting my attention.
What wasn’t hard to figure out was the winner of my improvised giveaway the other day. The challenge were to guess which was my best selling product of 2011. I thought it would be easy to guess but only one got the right answer.
So without further ado the winner is…. Kathy. My bestselling product was of course my Small Wonders SVC. Congratulations Kathy. Send me a PM on DSP with your mail address and your choice of one of my value collections and I’ll send it on to you.
