Christmas shopping

Some days I wish I could say I was a full time designer - or even a scrapper but I'm yet to hear of someone who could make a living out of it so in the mean time I work at a store. Believe it or not but I actually quite like to deal with customers every day, even the occasional angry ones, but working in a store in December also means a lot of extra hours and not that many days off. Today was one of those and considering I'm not sure I've got any more before Christmas I decided to go gift shopping. It had snowed lightly all morning and I was in no hurry to get out of the door so it was mid afternoon before I finally went. Although the shops were packed with people just getting off work at this point I wasn't sorry I had waited for so long.

The streets were glowing with all the Christmas lights decorating my town and the light streaming out of the smaller shops. It was cold and everyone was in a hurry to get it over with but I enjoyed it. I must have looked like an idiot standing there in the middle of the square with bags of presents scattered around me taking photos with my camera which I was thrilled to have remembered on my way out of the door. December is definitely one of my favorite months in spite of the snow and the cold. I cannot imagine celebrating Christmas somewhere warm and sunny. January I could definitely imagine spending anywhere else then Denmark as long as it isn't cold.
